The Mitterhaus Allm was in place long before the "Alpengasthof Kröll" or today's Alpenwelt Resort hotel was built. It was one of the first huts in Königsleiten, at that time Königsleiten was called "Kothalpe".
Fritz Kröll, mountain farmer, original Königsleitner, lift pioneer, founding member of the Königsleiten Bergbahnen and Alpengasthof Kröll and father of Susi Kröll-Schnell, spent most of his childhood and youth in the Mitterhaus Alm.

A HUT GOES ON A JOURNEY

The Mitterhaus Alm hut has now been removed from its old place by Brunner Ferl, a long-term friend of Hannes Kröll-Schnell, board by board and beam by beam, and it was rebuilt as it used to be only a 5 minutes' walk away from the hotel.
A rustic, natural alpine hut awaits you for rent.

Private, CULINARY HUT EXPERIENCE

with space for up to 16 people

We would like to bring you the cozy & rustic feeling of an original alpine hut of the Pinzgau mountains and for this reason you can spend a nice evening here with you loved ones and friends from Winter 2021.

Your own cook will spoil you with dishes from the Pinzgau region, such as roast pork with bread dumplings or an original „Melchermuas". The great thing is that everything is prepared live on the wood stove in the hut and you can look over the shoulder of the cook. A waiter who takes care of the liquid food will also be at you disposal throughout the evening.

The Mitterhaus Alm offers space for up to 16 people.
